Twenty four hours to go. We are almost ready. This morning we picked up our Brazilian visas at the Brazilian Embassy downtown. The rest of the day we are packing and finishing up the last minute chores. How do you pack for a trip this long across South America? Lightly. The lighter, the better.
Well, I will be the first to say that I am SO INCREDIBLY SAD to see you guys go! I mean I'm happy and psyched that you guys are going on this amazing trip and all that, but honestly, you are two of my favorite people in the world and I'm going to miss you more than I can express.
Wu, I'm so fired up we finally got to play on the same team this year — “Oh my god, you guys!” Sharing timeless memories of Winkie and Trashy was priceless. And there are plenty others which I won't go into here. But you know what they are. You're the absolute best.
Winks, you crack me up when you're not even trying. I don't know who's going to take on the mantle of “The Harrasser Of Woodrow-I-Mean-Frodo” and keep his butt honest once you're gone. But then again, I guess prank calls can still be made from Carolina. Awww yeeeah!
I love you both so much! Be safe on your travels and update the blog often! I can't wait till you get back and we all head up to Potlatch for more hot ZooMass action!

Just to let you know we returned from Aruba Saturday night in the middle of a blizzard but made it back OK. Aruba was great.
